What Hardware and Software I need?

Printers

Standard desk top (or laptop) computer. This will cost approximately around Rs 20,000 - 25,000
Monitor for Rs 5,000 - 10,000
Hard disk space: 80GB ( Single Cash register )
RAM: 2GB
Operating system: Windows 7 (all editions) or Windows 8 or Windows 10

Printers

An inkjet or laser printer for invoices, statements, reports, price tags and barcode labels
Laser prints are much cheaper than thermal printer. Approximately Rs7,000 - 9,000
You can also print your stickers / Labels in laser printer and Do NOT require expensive thermal printers
You can print your customers receipts in laser printer

Printers

Use barcode scanner to scan Item at any point where an item code is required
With HDPOS easy any type of barcode scanner will work
You can also use a USB barcode scanner
Barcode scanner generally costs around 9000 - 10,000 Rs

If you are running Windows 7 and facing problems with application installation, you need .Net framework 4.0 runtime

To run our applications after trial key, we highly recommending that you use SQL server for better performance.
You can download FREE version of SQL server directly from Microsoft's site:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Express Edition

Printers

Thermal printer are not must for HDPOS easy as you can print your receipt’s and barcode stickers with laser printer
Thermal printers are usually very expensive and run from Rs 15,000 - 20,000/-
If you already have thermal printer HDPOS easy is completely compatible with them
Advantage of thermal printer is that there is no ribbon or cartridge to replace

Printers

A cash drawer is not a must but if you want it can be connected with your hardware
Cash drawer usually cost's around Rs 5,000/-

Printers

We support Pole displays that have two lines of display text.
We support Pole displays that have "EPSON ESC/POS command set".
You will need to configure the pole display in "Epson esc/pos command" mode using the software that you receive from the pole display manufacturer.
